8-30-15 Shooting B&W 35mm Film, Motion Graphics and Video Journalism

Hey people!

What a week. Thanks for bearing with me. Luckily, things should be getting easier real soon.

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately:

B&W 35mm Photography

Thanks to the facilities and staff at ABC No Rio, I had my first lesson in developing b&w negatives! I find myself looking forward to developing my next roll, but will have to remember to bring kitchen gloves, because the chemicals tend to splash and get on your hands.

Freelance After Effects

I’ve just finished my first animation gig, which you can see at PinklyPerfect.com Now I’m working on my second motion graphics job and am digging the workflow. I’m also looking at the best way to put together a Windows machine for After Effects for around $600, so I’ll let you all know if I’m able to do it.

Lining up Video Journalism Interviews

I’ve been lining up interviews for two video journalistic pieces. It will be my first foray into video journalism, but I feel strongly about the subjects and hope to make viewers aware of interesting and important issues.

See you back here on Friday!

Thanks, as Ever,
Gabriel
