7-28-17 On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder

Happy Friday! President Trump has once again been defeated in the US Senate. Thank you to the three courageous Republicans who were willing confront his tyrannical administration and protect the health coverage of tens of millions of US citizens.

Incidentally, I just finished reading the phenomenal book “On Tyranny” by Timothy Snyder. In it, Mr. Snyder compares current US politics with his deep knowledge of world history, defining fascism and laying tips on how to fight against it.

Hey readers! A co-worker just gave me the heads up about a photography program made by Serif that’s competing with Adobe Photoshop. It’s named Affinity Photo and it’s cheaper and, in some cases, more advanced than Photoshop!

7-10-17 Album Review: Elephant EP by In The Valley Below

Hey readers, I just had the chance to listen to an advance of the five song EP “Elephant EP” by dream pop duo In The Valley Below. It’s a melodic journey through ’80s tinged sonic landscapes. Each song features beautiful vocals by both Angela Gail Mattson (vocals, keyboards) and Jeffrey Jacob Mendel (vocals, guitar), their voices floating over electronic backgrounds. I particularly liked their dreamy duet on the title track “Elephant”.

7-7-17 Choosing inkjet photo paper for my Canon Pro-100 printer!

Hey readers, I’ve been using my Canon Pro-100 printer a lot recently and have been so pleased with it. I was really amazed when I recently used it to create our wedding invitations and programs. Not only that, but I’ve been printing some artwork with it and it does a wonderful job.
