2-1-16 Reading Neil Gaiman’s “Smoke and Mirrors” and Writing
I hope all of you had lovely weekends. I took it easy and continued reading Neil Gaiman’s short story collection “Smoke and Mirrors”.
I’m a big fan of Neil Gaiman’s books (Neverwhere, Stardust and Coraline), but hadn’t read any of his short stories.

Today’s post is a bit of a hodgepodge, but sometimes crazy posts can be the most interesting!
Awesome vintage book covers

11-2-15 Halloween, my move finished, and I’m diving into Science Fiction!
I hope you had a great Halloween! I met a new friend at the Brighton Asylum on Halloween (thanks for taking this cool photo Kaye!).
Thank you all for being patient while I completed my move – I’m relieved to say, I’m FINALLY finished!
10-23-15 Ready Player One rocks! Video Game Emulation?
I just finished Ernest Cline’s awesome book Ready Player One. What a great read! I was addicted: I liked the main character, it’s set in the future, has tons of action and many layers. I was really bummed out when it was over.
8-16-15 P.S. Bookshop in downtown DUMBO
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Several weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting P.S. Bookshop in downtown DUMBO. They have a great selection of new and used books, vintage posters, cards etc. On my birthday, I found this awesome zine there, and on this visit, a book on Pinhole Photography by Eric Renner.
6-15-15 I’m Obsessed with Zines!
Hey people!
I recently became extremely interested in creating my own zine, after reading a zine making tutorial in Rookie Yearbook One. I scored the awesome zine above by artist Sarah Oleksyk at PS Bookstore in DUMBO on my birthday recently. If you come across any copies of Roadside out there, snatch them up, they’re awesome!
5-4-15 Color Photo Experiment and an 80’s book on Color Photography!
2-12-15 Joe Perry’s New Memoir Looks Cool
As a fan of Aerosmith (specifically their work up to and including PUMP) I was psyched to discover an article named “Aerosmith: The Early Days” by guitarist Joe Perry in Boston magazine’s October 2014 issue. I finished reading it this morning on the subway and hoped there was more. And it turns out there is. The article was an excerpt from Perry’s latest memoir, published in October (2014) by Simon & Schuster.
