6-22-14 A Comedy Writer’s Challenge!

Longtime subscribers may remember this blog was originally called The Wandering Humorist. I said I’d write about all my funny adventures around New York City.

The weird thing was, it just didn’t happen. I could write easily about photography, directing, my creative process, but somehow, my comedic mirth just didn’t come through. I was perplexed.

My awesome girlfriend took me to BookCon today as an early birthday present! At the end of the day, we were able to get into the panel that I was most looking forward to: a discussion with Brandon Stanton of Humans of New York moderated by WNYC’s Manoush Zomorodi.

Happy Friday!

There’s been a lot of exciting stuff going on for me this past week!

I’m super excited to say that I just received some great film from Kodak for my next photo shoot!

I’ll also be shooting two 35mm test rolls with my new used Nikon F3HP and I will also be testing a new used Polaroid Colorpack II instant camera this weekend! And I’ve also been researching… Zines (more on that later).

Hey Readers!

I’m totally riding the analog 35mm film wave! Since I’m arranging to shoot real 35mm film soon (Kodak film), I decided it was time to get a real, professional 35mm camera! Some of you may remember I ordered a Nikon FE last year to test. I had to return it when I realized I needed something better: the Nikon F3HP. That way, I can use the F3HP body with my old school Nikon AI and AIS lenses!
