Hey Gang! I’m flattened tonight, so I’m going to leave you with some tunes from Robots with Rayguns and I’ll see you all back here Monday!
And if you’re in New York City, definitely check out Brooklyn’s awesome PhotoVille this weekend!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Several weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting P.S. Bookshop in downtown DUMBO. They have a great selection of new and used books, vintage posters, cards etc. On my birthday, I found this awesome zine there, and on this visit, a book on Pinhole Photography by Eric Renner.
Thanks to my awesome girlfriend (this is becoming a theme!), I got to attend a great lecture by fine art photographer Ralph Gibson at the New York Film Academy on Saturday morning!
I hope you had a great week! Today is my first installment of “Casual Fridays”, a series of Fridays in which I will attempt to write humorous posts! I’m writing as I listen to Brazilian Disco in Midtown, New York City, thinking way back to Wednesday night…
Hey Gang!
After an awesome weekend away in beautiful Massachusetts, my girlfriend and I almost got trampled to death on Monday night, waiting for Ghostbusters to start in Bryant Park. You can see why it was so insane in the video from that night (above). We were at the back path of the green and a bunch of people walked right across our picnic blankets… in their shoes… without saying anything to us! It was a pretty awful scene of overcrowding. Luckily, at the end of it, we revived and got to see some of Ghostbusters!
Hey people!
I recently became extremely interested in creating my own zine, after reading a zine making tutorial in Rookie Yearbook One. I scored the awesome zine above by artist Sarah Oleksyk at PS Bookstore in DUMBO on my birthday recently. If you come across any copies of Roadside out there, snatch them up, they’re awesome!
